About Me
Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.
From the moment I first picked up a camera, I understood that cinematography is far more than just capturing images. It's about sculpting emotions, constructing immersive worlds, and evoking profound feelings within the audience. Whether it's the subtle vulnerability in a character's gaze or the electrifying intensity of a chase, I strive to translate raw emotion into a visual language that resonates beyond words. It's about intuitive adaptation, genuine feeling, and capturing the very essence of a fleeting moment.
With over 30 years immersed in the world of cinematic photography, I've honed my craft and vision. Since 1988, I have served as Director of Photography for more than 25 television serials and Cinematographer for over 15 Hindi movies.
Throughout my career, I've been privileged to contribute to a diverse array of projects, ranging from intimate independent dramas to dynamic music videos and engaging commercial shoots. Each endeavor presents unique challenges, whether it's mastering unpredictable natural light, navigating demanding production schedules, or creatively translating a director's vision into a tangible reality. I believe cinematography is a harmonious blend of technical precision and artistic intuition, and I'm continuously seeking innovative approaches to expand the horizons of visual storytelling.
Beyond the lens, collaboration is at the heart of my process. Filmmaking is a collective art form, and I believe that the most compelling ideas emerge through open dialogue, shared experimentation, and collaborative problem-solving. Whether working closely with directors, production designers, or lighting teams, my aim is to foster a synergy where every frame amplifies the core of the narrative.
Ultimately, my goal is simple: to tell unforgettable stories, one meticulously crafted frame at a time. If you seek a dedicated partner to bring your vision to life with passion, creativity, and a keen eye for cinematic beauty, let's collaborate and create something truly extraordinary together.
